Via Ferrata Olmo-Soler

A fun and beautiful route that you can access straight from the mountain refuge by taking a kayak.

From Montfalcó pier, head north towards the rocky outcrop on the left bank of the reservoir, where you can see Mare de Déu de la Pertusa Hermitage. You’ll reach the base of the wall in just 15 to 20 minutes.

After mooring the kayaks to one of the large rocks, climb up to the same entrance as for the Teletubbies and Cast-Urquiza-Olmo via ferratas (you will have to climb more or less depending on the water level). A few metres to the right of Via Ferrata Teletubbies you can see a path that leads down to car park for La Pertusa Hermitage. Follow it for 15 minutes and you will arrive at the starting point of Via Ferrata Olmo-Soler.

At the bottom of the route you’ll see a signpost telling you which way to go.

The route ends at La Petrusa Hermitage, and it lasts between one and a half and two hours. Once you’ve reached the end, you’ll have to go down to the car park where you then take the path that leads back to the lake (follow the red and white circles).

If you want to go by car, head for Corçà and then take the track that leads down to La Pertusa Hermitage. Once you reach the car park, go to the hermitage and follow the red and white signs that lead you to the left of the hermitage and down to the starting point of the route.

Otras ideas

As it’s a short route, it is often combined with Via Ferrata Teletubbies.
And, if you still have some leftover energy when you finish, you can keep paddling up to Mont-Rebei Gorge. It really is the cherry on top of a perfect day!
