Urquiza-Olmo Ridge

It has become one of the true classics of the area thanks to its beauty, accessibility and the good quality of its rocks.

It has a very varied route which passes through crests and spectacular ridges, climbing needles and abseiling and jumping… It will definitely put your rope-handling ability to the test.

An unmissable activity.

Access
From Montfalcó Hostel, head up to Santa Quiteria Hermitage and then, once there, go to the left if the building, continuing to climb the ridge to the east and following the blue-and-white ceramic signs that lead the way to the start of the ridge.

The path we take to get there is called Camí de las Cireres de L’Arboc.

You can find reviews of the climbs and a range of guidebooks on the area for sale at the mountain refuge.

Otras ideas

It’s a route that can be made shorter by starting halfway through if it seems too long.

Or you can also make it even longer by combining it with the route to Montserrat Clotet needle, as it is nearby.

If you’re coming to spend a few days climbing, combine this route with climbing Santa Quiteria Wall, a day of sport climbing or maybe even Hernández-Rovira ridge.
