Canelles Reservoirs boasts infinite special nooks and crannies in peaceful and wild surroundings. Its vast expanse means that you’ll need several days to discover it all, and Mont-Rebei Gorge is the perfect place to start!
Mont-Rebei is a destination of its own, where you can sail the gorge’s waters while gazing up at its immense 500-metre-tall walls – it’s certainly intimidating!
Along the route, why not visit La Pertusa Hermitage or even tackle one of the via ferratas that can be found throughout the zone?

Remember that a visit to Mont-Rebei is a 12 to 16 kilometre return trip, depending on how far you want to go, and it lasts around four hours.
If you bring your own kayak, bear in mind that you’ll need a permit from the Ebro Hydrographic Confederation (CHE), and you’ll also need to clean and disinfect the hull.
In addition, the track that leads to Montfalcó pier isn’t maintained so you’ll need a 4×4 vehicle in order to navigate it.
